Receiving your Medicare Card

To show proof of coverage through Medicare you will need your “Medicare Card”.  This card will be sent to you 3 months prior to turning 65 if you are receiving Social Security benefits.  However, if you are not receiving Social Security benefits but are eligible you will be required to contact the Social Security office to sign up for Medicare.
